Subsequent to the theoretical part of my Bachelor thesis – evaluating designs of evilness within Fantasy films – these 360° artworks of my own vicious creatures were exhibited at "SENSORY SCAPES" at Bethanien Kunstquartier Berlin in 2020. Through VR-Headsets viewers could face the evil beings dwelling in the bewitched Fairy Rings filled with absorbing Sound Design by Simon Winkler. For sound watch on YouTube.
These collections will be expanded continuosly, since this website just recently has been published.
Me, Hannah Brückmann, was born in central Germany, am in my mid-twenties and work as a freelance Concept Artist in Berlin. I like being surrounded by people and working with a kind, but ambitious team.

Cards on the table: I LOVE FANTASY. Especially cloudy, grim worlds of bygone times, but every sprout of fiction world building has a place in my nerd heart. I even play PEN&PAPER. Ambitiously. That is why there always will be traces of Fantasy in my art and therefore the name. But do not worry! Studying Communication Design taught me how to keep it plain and simple. Those of you who’ve used Photoshop know the temptation of glitter and Color Dodge, but that’s what I aim for: State of the Art Fiction Concept Art. Moreover being politically interested it is important to me to avoid harmful or merely outdated stereotypes, but work on new narratives.
… I attend a lecture at university. What might sound super boring is my favorite! The inspiration I draw from Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and History flow into my art. On my healthy days I go hiking, on my cozy days I watch movies, read screenplays or write stories myself.
Keenly I’d take a dare with any challenge but I specialise in environment art as well as character, costume and creature design for preproduction (set construction, marketing) or postproduction (vfx) for films. For that I know how to use 3d models for my art at a basic level, but I paint in 2d. In addition I provide illustrations for the Graphics or Prop department e.g. in-film advertisements, packages, historical posters, book pages, etc..
